I have been keeping ponds for 25 years, through trial and error. The pond you see in the photo is my fourth pond and is 50 cubic meters. I have been using BIOGRO since it came onto the market; since then, I have also tested other brands, including those from Japan. At high ammonia levels, BIOGRO works the fastest. Currently, I only use BIOGRO.
TIP: "If the bottom of your pond is getting a bit dark, put half of what you normally use for your pond into a tub in the evening. Place an air stone in it for about an hour. Then distribute the water from the tub back over your pond. In the morning, you will see that the pond is clear and the surface of the pond water sparkles."
